Cooking is a cherished tradition in my family, spanning generations from my great grandmother. In our household, I proudly bear the torch of this culinary artistry from the very beginning. The inception of my culinary journey, known as the CAVE, emerged after dispelling the age-old myth that men should not venture into the realm of the kitchen. In my patriarchal homeland, the most men were expected to do in the kitchen was to assist women with physically demanding tasks like yam pounding.

Despite my father’s reservations and constant disapproval of my presence in the kitchen, my passion for cooking only grew stronger. I delved into the study of food and nutrition during my high school years, graduating with honors. Soon, my family recognized me as the household chef, especially during festive occasions like Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving. This culinary journey continued when I moved to the United States. I gained invaluable experience in various culinary establishments, honing my skills in food management and nutrition. In May 2022, I made the momentous decision to turn my lifelong passion into a full-fledged endeavor, giving birth to the CAVE.

What initially began as a side project has now become the focal point of my dedication and time. As a graduate in process technology and safety management from HCC and UHD, I also run a health business. I firmly believe in promoting healthy living through nutritious meals.

At the CAVE, we specialize in crafting delectable, tailor-made Nigerian dishes, conveniently delivered to your preferred location within Houston, Texas. We cater to a wide array of events, from birthdays and graduations to weddings and conventions. We even offer the unique service of sending our expert cooking staff or chef to your home if you desire that personal touch. Rest assured, we are fully bonded, insured, and hold food handlers and food manager certifications. Our commitment is to serve you in any way you prefer.
